I have a 1998 ford f150 standard cab, 4x4, manual transmission, 4.2l v6 engine. 94 body / paint problems 4 nhtsa complaints: They will be able to test the starter motor, starter relay, ignition switch, and the wiring for the starter system to identify any problems and make the necessary repairs.
This Has Been Going On Intermitantly For 2 Years But It Has Gotten Worse In The Last Month.
If they are loose or corroded, it acts as a barrier that can keep the starter from getting the voltage it needs to crank the engine. Went to start my truck and all i got was a click, further investigating this i noticed a loose cable on the bottom of the starter, or starter seliniod before i used to move it around and she would fire, now it wont. Does anyone know what the cable is or has ne ideas how to fix the problem.

Starter And Alternator Were Checked And They Are Fine.
